Treating your sleep disorder

Treating sleep disorders is no different than the treatment of all other medical problems.

It begins with a thorough, consultation before any diagnostic study is performed, with only patients who have clear indications for diagnostic sleep studies being referred for overnight study.

After the sleep study has been conducted and reviewed, specific treatments may be recommended, including medications prescribed by your physician or a sleep psychologist may called upon to recommend non-drug approaches. Improving your diet, your sleep environment and your bedtime rituals, including the timing of physical exercise, alcohol intake and other factors, may also contribute to a better night's sleep.

We achieve successful clinical outcomes by helping you understand the nature and treatment of your sleep disorder. We also partner with your primary care provider providing details regarding your ongoing treatment.

Patients are re-evaluated once a year.
